Staff is nice and pleasant and you can park your car on-site. Bright, quiet room complete with a very comfortable bed, cupboard & chest of drawers, as example.

What an absoluteley charming hotel, if only they could get their act together. Left luggage? Completely non-existent. Ask for special treatment? Apparently not. Breakfast, while decent, definitely woudl ve been better with more options. I almost wrote a glowing review, but honestly? No way.

Parking spaces were somewhat tight.

The room I stayed in had charming antique features that added a unique character to the space. I particularly appreciated the kettle provided, which, despite its quirks, was a nice touch for enjoying a hot drink .
While the room brought a certain vintage charm, it was dark and felt somewhat neglected, with bathroom amenities that hadn't seen an upgrade since, well, who knows when. The lack of sound from fellow guests was eerie. The ongoing lack of air conditioning meant I had to leave the window open, less than ideal for comfort. Be aware that access to the front desk can be hit or miss, leaving you to find your way in and out without much assistance. Lastly, if you're staying over a Sunday or Monday, prepare for a scarcity of nearby attractions and shops, as many tend to close.

The location is best possible, within walking distance of a 12th - century Gothic cathedral. The staff is friendly professional and extremely helpful, that's an advantage, Make sure to get superior queen room with a 'large double' bed, quaint Louis XV decor, for instance.

My children wished for better dining options for families.

The place has a lovely vintage vibe, and the lady at the front desk was super friendly, even lending me a much-needed plug adapter. I enjoyed relaxing in the cozy lounge area and the charming little garden, perfect for unwinding after a day out. The only thing I wished for was a softer light bulb in the room for a more comfortable evening atmosphere. 😊
